JBL F1 Carbon Fins (Blades Only)

JBL F1 Carbon Fins (Blades Only)

The JBL F1 Carbon Fins are full carbon fiber freediving and spearfishing blades engineered for efficient energy transfer, rapid recovery, and lightweight performance. The blades are manufactured using premium aerospace-grade carbon fiber, selected for its high strength-to-weight ratio, stiffness, and elastic recovery characteristics. This high-performance carbon construction allows the blade to store energy as it flexes under load and rapidly return that energy during recovery. Variable-stiffness carbon fiber layering creates a controlled flex profile, combining a stiff blade base for effective power transmission with a progressively responsive working section that loads and recovers through each kick cycle.

A 23-degree blade angle positions the blade for efficient underwater and surface finning while reducing the amount of ankle extension required to maintain an effective blade orientation. The Fins T-rail sides protect the blade edges and help control water along the blade during the power stroke.

The F1 Carbon Blades are available in Soft and Medium stiffness options, allowing divers to select the resistance and response that best matches their kicking mechanics and diving application. Their lightweight aerospace-grade carbon fiber construction and responsive snap-back make them well suited to freediving, reef hunting, and bluewater spearfishing where efficient propulsion and reduced leg effort are important.

These are sold as blades only and do not include foot pockets. The F1 blades are compatible with a wide range of freediving foot pockets and are intentionally supplied without pre-drilled mounting holes, allowing installation to be configured for the specific foot pocket being used.

Florida Freedivers recommends the Seac BM-30, Seac Motus, Or Koah Flex Foot Pockets. Please contact the shop to inquire about other foot pocket compatibility.
